Concept Coursework / UI/UX · 2024
Case StudyChapters — an online manga discovery experience.
A UI/UX coursework concept mapping an online manga experience across discovery, catalog, chapter selection, schedules, profiles, and subscriptions.

01 · Overview
What the project is
Chapters was created as a UI/UX course deliverable in 2024. The assignment required me to understand, design, and present the complete flow of an online manga platform rather than focus only on individual screens.
02 · Approach
How I approached it
I mapped the reader journey from landing and discovery through catalog browsing, manga details, chapter selection, release schedules, saved titles, recommendations, and premium plan comparison. Each screen needed to feel like part of one continuous reading product.
03 · Implementation
From interface to system
The presented design applies reusable navigation, content cards, category groupings, chapter lists, schedule filters, profile sections, and subscription comparisons. The work focused on information hierarchy, visual consistency, and making transitions between discovery and reading decisions understandable.

05 · Outcome
What changed
The final presentation became one of my most complete early product-design explorations, showing a connected multi-page concept rather than a standalone landing page.
06 · Learning
What I learned
This was where many of my UI/UX fundamentals became concrete: starting from user flow, organizing information before styling, maintaining component consistency, and explaining design decisions as part of a presentation. Those lessons became the foundation for my later interface work.
